Raised in Bristol at
Easton Community Centre
Welcome to our nursery at Easton Community Centre…
Raised in Bristol at Easton Community Centre is a 67 place day nursery for children aged 6 months – 5 years old open Monday to Friday from 8 am – 6 pm. Raised in Bristol nurseries are open all year round, 51 weeks of the year, for the benefit of working families. We only close between Christmas and New Year and the major English Bank Holidays.
Our dedicated nursery team of Early Years professionals provide a hand for your child to hold as they begin their education, and we help prepare them fully for what’s to come. We offer play-led learning in a space that prioritises a nurturing environment, focusing on nature and nutrition as your children take their first steps towards school.
If you would like to register your interest and get booked in for a tour to see the nursery then fill out a registration form here.

A nurturing environment designed to spark imagination
This was the first Raised in Bristol nursery to open its doors back in early 2018. The annexe was purpose-built as a nursery when the community centre opened in 1989 and has been fully refurbished to return it to its original purpose.
The main preschool room is light and airy, but not at the expense of its warm and intimate atmosphere. Beyond the double doors lies a private courtyard for the children to explore – full of plants, a mud kitchen and plenty of space to run around in complete safety.
The cosy toddler room, next door to the preschool room, was added in 2021 and has its own section of the garden for the toddlers to enjoy free-flow play from inside to outside.
The baby room is located on the first floor with views out over the park behind. This room has a calming homely feel to it. The building is made fully accessible by a lift.
Proud to be a social enterprise
As a Social Enterprise Raised In doesn't have any owners or shareholders. A share of any profit (or surplus) is reinvested into our communities for the benefit of all. Eastside Community Trust was our first community partner, through our tenancy, we’re able to provide them with a long-term and sustainable rent income. With approximately 100 families per nursery, we can guarantee an increase in footfall and also a client reach for other on-site providers.
Supporting community spaces and celebrating the diversity of our locations and our children and team have always been at the heart of what we do. All are welcome at our Raised in Bristol nurseries. Our ethos and curriculum focus on supporting children to feel connected to their local area, helping them to become active and engaged citizens with a strong sense of place and local pride. Eastside Community Trust is a vital part of the local ecology, supporting your communities to be resilient, engaged and welcoming.

Take a look around…
What I love about RIE is that the staff really want to be there. They Iove their jobs and it shows. Honestly, the energy I feel when I walk in there…. It’s full of warmth and humour.

“It really has been such a pleasure to watch RiB grow, not just in number of children but in fantastic staff and in their place in the community. Most days when I drop my daughter off I wish I could stay and play all day too, and I can't think of a better endorsement than that!” A Raised in Bristol Parent
