Mog the Forgetful Cat at Bristol Old Vic
Tue 14th – Sat 18th Feb
Mog is a very forgetful cat. She forgets that she has a cat flap, she forgets that she’s already eaten her supper, and she forgets that cats don’t have eggs for breakfast every day. In this stage adaptation of Judith kerr’s iconic Mog stories from The Wardrobe Ensemble – join Mog and the Thomas family on a journey through one year in the life of a really remarkable cat, as she catches a burglar, gatecrashes a cat show, goes to the V.E.T. and gets to eat lots and lots of eggs. Directed by Jesse Jones and Helena Middleton with songs, live music and a menagerie of creatures little and large. These timeless tales of family and friendship are brought to life to allow a new generation of children to fall in love with Mog.

Eat your way to Australia at SS Great Britain
Sat 11th – Sun 19th Feb
This half term, discover the weekly food allowances available in steerage, the lowest class of passenger travelling to Australia on the SS Great Britain. As the lowest class voyagers aboard, steerage passengers didn’t have much to look forward to at mealtimes. When they boarded the ship to Australia in the 1850s, they didn’t just face a gruelling two month voyage, they were also about to endure one of the chewiest diets in history! This activity is suitable for all ages. It is an interactive activity but is designed to dip in and out of when you're visiting the ship, so if younger children are distracted, it's easy to move on! To get into the whole attraction – admission is via a standard ticket but this provides free, unlimited return visits for up to one year after the date of first visit.
